7Zip is a softwares to shrink the file sizes, a very small and free tool to shrink the size of your files or folder up to 50% if you do compress them in the .7z format.
Besides this it supports many of the well known file compression extensions e.g .rar, .zip bla bla bla. you can decompress .iso files even you can decompress a single file which was compressed in parts. 7 zip decompresses the files which are in parts independentaly, this is a great feature because i was unable to decompress single part of the files with WINRAR or WINZIP untill i had all of the parts of a file.
